"Packaging & Freshness Guarantee – How Lucaffè protects the aroma"
When it comes to enjoying coffee, freshness is everything. Even the slightest changes in humidity, temperature, or light can impair the aroma of the finest beans. That's precisely why Lucaffè has relied for years on a packaging system that sets global standards: steel tins with an aroma valve – elegant, robust, and above all, functional.
Aroma protection begins with roasting.
After roasting, the beans are gently cooled to preserve their natural oils and aromas. They are then packed directly into the can before oxidation can begin. The integrated one-way aroma valve allows excess CO₂ to escape from the can without allowing oxygen to enter.
The result: a coffee that smells as if it came fresh from the roastery on Lake Garda, even weeks after packaging.
Why steel instead of plastic or paper?
Lucaffè deliberately chooses the more elaborate approach. Instead of paper or plastic, the company uses recyclable steel , which optimally protects the beans from oxygen, light, and moisture.
This choice is no coincidence: steel is opaque , can be sealed completely airtight , and offers a natural barrier against environmental influences . This ensures that the aroma remains unaltered – from roasting to the last cup.
Sustainability included
Lucaffè follows the principle: “Quality is Health” – quality means responsibility. Therefore, the packaging is also part of this principle. Steel is fully recyclable and can be reused infinitely without any loss of quality.
Lucaffè thus combines the highest coffee enjoyment with a sustainable contribution to environmental protection.
A sign of value
The tin itself makes a visual statement: it embodies Italian design, elegance, and attention to detail. Opening a Lucaffè tin brings not only the aroma of an excellent espresso, but also the result of a clear promise of quality.
Every bean as fresh as it should be.
